Thank you for your original post, and don't worry about the trolls. Here's a little saying I learned back at university: The things that matter at all, matter to those who matter, 'tis all; the matter of those not seeing what matters don't matter, their matters don't matter! Stay true to yourself in the matters that matter, for all matters pursued ought matter. Anon. Your contribution was appreciated, and know that you -never- need to justify such contributions around here ... right on topic, and always welcome. Have a great one :) On Mon, Feb 13, 2017 at 02:02:25PM -0800, Yosem Companys wrote:
I am Yosem Companys. I am a Researcher at Stanford University and an Associate Director at UCSB. I run Stanford Liberationtech. I am one of the moderators of the Liberationtech list, and one of the people who posts on our @Liberationtech Twitter account. So I am a real person despite my unusual name. My last name is a Catalan last name. My first name is a variant of the Catalan Josep Maria. You may look me up on LinkedIn. Celso is also a real person. I thought folks on this list might be interested in the work Celso is doing.

Sorry, Razer, but it's probably a mistake. Celso Salinas-Mireles is an immigration rights activist and coder , not an abuser. And Yosem is a person that I do love and respect a lot. He's a person zillions of times better than me in all possible senses.
What of it? "Someone calling themselves "Yosem Companys" (who isn't) wrote:"
And there's no fucking way that could be an accident.
You need to remember that there are people using your account and other persons to annoy me.
They're probably doing the same with you, but it was *not* Yosem or Celso's guilt. Both are innocent. You did *not* receive a Celso's message, dear. He's an immigration rights activists, what annoys some trolls. He's suffering bullying and harassment exactly like us.
