The media are accurately reporting that the government of a starving country is blocking aid for its starving people. If anything, the media are displaying a pro Venezuela bias in neglecting to report that the Venezuelan government is sitting on a lake of oil, which it lacks the competence to pump, and a mountain of gold, that it lacks the competence to mine. I hope that the purpose of this intervention is get the oil pumped and the gold mined, rather than install democracy, because past efforts to install democracy have been disastrous, with the voters of each newly created democracy voting to destroy the economy and make war on their neighbors and each other.
