now we could compare the idea of having a blind surgeon (big eek for sighted people!) to having advanced robotic surgery, where the robot is able to address things humans can't (or don't within a reasonable price)
omigod you can finally rewire the nerves of my paralyzed part ... i don't care if the expert guiding you is blind at this point
i wonder how hard it is to rewire nerves! i wonder this because i have facial paralysis ;p i asked the nerve surgeon [if he could return feeling to my face and he cited a standard saying that this was not required
