re: machine learning people need to understand that a virus can make your model look perfect, but have it kill a single person when you are not looking, and it's not at all hard to do that and is happening these days, and that is why we are taking these machine learning things slower and smaller. obviously the issue is lack of public discussion around that problem and how to safely act on it, similar to most issues.
