If we put soldiers on the ground expect cacualites. Lots of them. The Somali were a bunch of rabble. Afghanistan is a cohesive culture with a much longer history of (succesfull in many cases) military action. predict casualties significantly higher then vietnam and expect to run for the hills much like america did in vietnam. afganistan was a nightmare for the soviets during their occupation and the exact same will apply to any american action there.
