Protection against TEMPEST?
I thought this bounced since i didnot receive a copy, hence resending. apologies if you already received it. hi, I came across this link through this months Cryptogram. http://oculislabs.com/Products/ChameleonP.htm The link reads.... "Oculis Labsb Chameleon System protects your monitor against eavesdropping. With Chameleon running, you can read your screen normally, but no one else can. Chameleon protects against the shoulder-surfing eavesdropper as well as opponents using sophisticated TEMPESTbtype electronic surveillance." I am curious to know how it prevents TEMPEST? Other links http://oculislabs.com/government.htm Whitepaper http://oculislabs.com/Oculis_Whitepaper_1.pdf Also, is not clear the idea of you seeing something at one gazepoint and some other thing at another gazepoint. Any insight is welcome. Thank you, Sarad AV
Looks as though it might protect against the font leakage examined by Xcpyte Cvbnsw and the other distinguished researcher at Tnuqwbb University, you know them well, darn I can't get this ?#$!* monitor to show true names. There may be an audial version to foghorn expletives terrifically generated by comsec-insane sobs. This toot is not directed at BT's Cryptogram, oops, XY VVxccttyy.
