Dear Robert,
Movin' to Anguilla soon. Gonna be a mental floss tycoon.
Cool. "Movin' to Montana, soon. Gonna be a dental floss tycoon. Raisin' 'em up! Waxin' 'em down!"
Seafeathers Bay.
Sea horse feathers?
Got a lot to do, now. More news as it happens.
Congratulations.
With apologies to Mr. Zappa...
No apologies needed. He's where he wouldn't mind what you wrote. Regards, Jim http://golightspeed.com/

Hey, at 65 m maximum elevation you better not have too much beach estate, given sea level rise. And hurricanes, too.

We'll at about 74 feet. (None of those pussy "meters" thankyouverramuch.) No storm surge problem there, and the island may be a rock, but the rock is limestone. Percolation is your friend. As for global "warming", I think your chancellor said it best a few days ago. Color me skeptical... Of course, if that mountain in the Canaries lets go and falls into the sea... :-) Cheers, RAH -- ----------------- R. A. That be 23 pussyfeet. That's not a lot.

Percolation is not so hot when it's the sea coming up from below.

The Ferkel is not my chancellor, but I wouldn't want to live directly at a coast, any coast (unless it's a rock face some 100 m high), regardless of global warming or cooling.
Color me skeptical...
Of course, if that mountain in the Canaries lets go and falls into the sea...
My point precisely. -- Eugen* Leitl leitl http://leitl.org ______________________________________________________________ ICBM: 48.07100, 11.36820 http://www.ativel.com http://postbiota.org 8B29F6BE: 099D 78BA 2FD3 B014 B08A 7779 75B0 2443 8B29 F6BE

No. Crocus Hill (just behind Crocus Bay, where Roy's is, for you FC fans), highest point in Anguilla, is 150 feet. Our elevation is about 74. :-)
Percolation is not so hot when it's the sea coming up from below.
See "74 feet", above. Storm surges are considerably lower than that, last time I looked. I was talking about rain, anyway.
a rock face some 100 m high
Here's hoping you find it, then. Cheers, RAH -- ----------------- R. A. I'm at about 500 m elevation, with more than half a megameter distance from any coast. No hurricanes, earthquakes, disease/parasites, lowest homicide rate in the world, etc. About the boringest place on the planet, and I like it that way. -- Eugen* Leitl leitl http://leitl.org ______________________________________________________________ ICBM: 48.07100, 11.36820 http://www.ativel.com http://postbiota.org 8B29F6BE: 099D 78BA 2FD3 B014 B08A 7779 75B0 2443 8B29 F6BE

Here's hoping you stay there, then... :-) You have a standing invite to visit, though, should you ever loose your mind and come to the Caribbean. Cheers, RAH -- ----------------- R. A.
