Swiss Socialists Call for Abolition of Banking Secrecy
BERN-- Socialist members of the Swiss parliament tabled a motion calling for abolition of banking secrecy to combat tax evasion, on Tuesday.
I have been skeptical of Switzerland for quite some time publiclly on the list. I continue to be so. Switzerland has also signed a new Tax Treaty with the United States which has some dire consequences for banking secrecy.
