A question for Mike Godwin and other attorneys on the list:
Could one make a case that the use of Digital signatures in messages imply's copyright retention by the author?
I suppose one could, but, really, there's no issue of "copyright retention" out there. Post something to the Net, and it's copyrighted, and you hold the copyright. Doesn't matter whether you've digsigged it or not.
Does digital signature=copyright or is it at least equivalent?
