* In April, the National Olympic Committee of the Caribbean island nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines suspended its Olympic coach Orde Ballantyne for four years after his mother ratted him out. She was head of the country's delegation at the Summer Games in 1996 and reported him for violating protocol by refusing to stand for the U.
