(anyone know who came up with the term "email exploder" that the Court used instead of "mailing list"?)
Brendan P Kehoe's "Zen and the Art of the Internet" (1993) discussing mailing lists says (p11), "Any mail sent to that address will "explode" out to each person named in a file maintained on a computer at ..." I have seen it used elsewhere as well.
