so, Bush lost out there. Of course, recounts there wouldn't make much difference anyway: no fucked-up ballot. I think such recounts should be allowed even if they missed the 72-hour deadline.
Does anyone know what bit of legislation this comes from? The written text of Florida, and US law in general, seem to have little to do with the actual actions of government... or the law is so redundant and disorganized that any action is both mandatory and proscribed.
