Actually, pretty much all unshielded computer hardware effectively has a transmitter in it. Google for "side-channel attacks" "DPA" and "TEMPEST" for more info. That's not a matter of transmitting to the satellites, but it may be a matter of transmitting to the van parked outside your house....
