The documents are made available in .PDF form for two reasons - because of the difficulty of achieving good results with consumer-grade OCR systems, and in order to provide a modicum of privacy for the people peripherally involved. Their names and participation will now be available, but not easily searchable or indexable by automated means. Heh.
