Didn't Mark Twain say that the coldest winter he had ever experienced was a summer in San Francisco?
Mark Twain also said (from memory, and probably not exact): "In India, 'cold weather' is merely a polite phrase used to distinguish weather that will melt a brass doorknob from weather that will only make it mushy.". Sorry, couldn't resist... -- John B. Very near San Francisco
