This month's featured neighbor is Betty from Topeka, Kansas:
With all of the different laundry detergents in the stores these days, I often get confused trying to determine
which to buy. While I have been a Tide Liquid user all my life, I must admit that I get confused when trying to
choose the right product for my family. Can you please explain the differences between your Tide Liquid products?
Thanks for asking Betty! The laundry detergent aisle can be confusing! Let's make sure you're choosing the Tide
Liquid formula that will best serve your family's needs: |

It is important to understand the differences between Tide's Liquid laundry detergents
because each one is specially formulated for specific laundry needs.
Tide Liquid has several product choices available:
|
1. |
|
Use Tide Liquid with Bleach Alternative to eliminate the hassle of having to add color-safe liquid
bleach to your laundry load. This product features the Tide BrightLock™ formula to ensure your whites and colors stay
bright. (Available in Regular and Mountain Spring.) Since Bleach Alternative is safe for most fabrics, go ahead and
use your Tide Kick on those
tough stains as well. (Always follow the garment manufacturer instructions
on the care label.)
|
2. |
|
For heavily soiled items, choose Tide Deep Clean Formula.
(Available in Regular, Mountain Spring, and Tide Free.) Best if used in
conjunction with the Tide Kick
measuring and pretreating device. Using Tide Deep Clean formula and Tide Kick together completely removes more of your stains
than any leading pretreater and other liquid laundry detergent combined.
|
3. |
|
For family members who are sensitive to scented
detergent, Tide Free is the product you're looking
for. Tide Free provides the same stain removal benefits of regular Tide without dyes or perfumes.
|
4. |
|
Tide HE is formulated specially for use
in high-efficiency (HE) or front-loader washers to help maintain excellent cleaning power in the low water levels of HE machines. Go ahead and
use your Tide Kick too! It is safe to use in your HE washer.

HE TALK
While you may have heard about using Tide Kick to measure
and pretreat your laundry items, did you know that Tide Kick is safe for HE washers as well? That's right — using Tide Kick with Liquid Tide HE to
pretreat your garments makes stain-fighting even easier.
Simply measure Liquid Tide HE into the Tide Kick (be careful
not to overfill,) then pretreat your clothes with the roller ball and finally just toss the Tide Kick with the remaining
liquid into your washing machine. It's that easy!
