We offer the text and three summary tables of the U.S. Courts "1996 Wiretap Report" at:
I noticed in the summary report that e-mail interceps were used. Is their more detailed information on this? I would be intrested to know how involved the govenment is becoming involved in this area. Of great intrest would be the location and means used to do such taps.
Don't know specifically where the taps are, but there is a major network access point (NAP) in Reston or Maclean VA. There are other NAPs located domestically. Some urls to look (by no means inclusive) that will provide NAP information are: www.ra.net nic.merit.edu/ipma www.rsng.net/naps.html www.mfsdatanet.com/MAE/doc/mae-info.html
Thanks again for providing a wealth of information,
