An MIT student named Lamachhia(sp?) reportedly operated a warez FTP archive He got arrested and charged with something irrelevant (wire fraud??).
The case against him was lost.
I was studying up on his case just the other day and wasn't sure if it was all over. The DA fucked up by charging him with something totally irrelevant and not copyright violations.
