I agree, with the additional constraint that mix functionality piggyback with a more popular feature. Most folks won't install even the most benign, easy to use mixer; but include a mix server in a jazzy IM or next-gen napster program, and you get deployed. --===============2335565084166781171==-- From eugen@leitl.org Sat Dec 11 10:51:49 2004 From: Eugen Leitl To: cypherpunks-legacy@lists.cpunks.org Subject: Re: punkly current events Date: Sat, 11 Dec 2004 10:51:49 +0000 Message-ID: <20041211165056.GM9221@leitl.org> In-Reply-To: <41BB0691.7BE54E11@cdc.gov> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="===============6142447136470026453==" --===============6142447136470026453== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit On Sat, Dec 11, 2004 at 06:39:13AM -0800, Major Variola (ret) wrote: > I agree, with the additional constraint that mix functionality piggyback > with a more popular feature. The major advantage of massive rollout is speedy traffic remixing on the local loop, which requires a high occupation density in address space. The advantages are ~realtime, reliable traffic remixing. We live in a social system whose community, wealth, love and life is derived from alienation, poverty, self-hate and medical murder - yet we tell ourselves that it is biologically and ecologically sustainable.
