     United States officials correctly designated an Islamic charity,
     Al-Haramain Islamic Foundation Oregon, as supporting terrorism but
     improperly seized its assets, a federal appeals court ruled on
     Friday. The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit
     ruled that the Treasury Department was correct in finding the
     organization connected to terrorism because one of its board members
     was designated by the Treasury Department as linked to terrorism and
     because the group financed such activities in Albania and Chechnya.
     But the appeals court found the department’s Office of Foreign
     Assets Control improperly seized the charity’s assets using a
     “blocking order” to freeze them without a warrant supported by
     probable cause, violating the Fourth Amendment right against
     unreasonable seizures.

   Is there some sort of secret court opinion that says that because all
   drug trafficking in the US is from the proceeds of CIA operations, the
   government can steal it at any time?
   Anything is believable at this point.
