A California federal judge indicated Thursday that she's open to trimming a
revived proposed class action alleging Google and companies that host
child-friendly YouTube channels illegally collected children's data from
targeted ads, expressing concerns about the requested relief and saying
she's "flummoxed" by the consumers' belated liability theory against the
channels' owners.
