Sens. Cynthia Lummis, R.-Wyo., and Kirsten Gillibrand, D.-N.Y., have
unveiled their long-awaited proposal to regulate stablecoins, which would
require issuers to hold full reserves, ban algorithmic stablecoins and
define the authority that state and federal banking regulators will have
over the tokens.
