some things can’t be broken reasonably: for example, physical laws.
and these laws, or some deity, protects us. we can’t travel faster
than the speed of light to prevent the evolution of life. the best we
could do is make a scary borg that travels at sublight and scares the
rest of the universe into being more caring and preventative.
